In 2022, the fifth “One Belt and One Road” Chengdu Global Chess double match was also divided into the international double Group and the Chinese domestic mixed double group. The eight pairs of matches were divided into two groups respectively, in the first three rounds of the group, the first round of the group will be decided, and then the final will be held. Huo Zhenting, chairman of the World Chess Federation, said in his video speech that chess is an excellent representative of Chinese culture and the crystallization of the millennium culture of the Chinese nation.
