Jinjiang city football training center Stadium and Jinjiang City Sports Center Stadium will be used as neutral competition venues. Jinjiang division is the second main-away neutral division of the Chinese Super League this season and is expected to be put into use in mid-November.
According to the notice of the Chinese Football Association on restoring the main and away matches of the Chinese Super League in 2022, the Chinese Super League clubs that cannot hold matches at home in their territories and at home in different places cannot be held, the Chinese Football Association will designate a neutral venue for the competition. In order to ensure the safe and smooth progress of the Chinese Super League and provide better competition conditions for all clubs and athletes, the Chinese Football Association and the preparatory group of China Football Association decided to set up Jinjiang division.
Jinjiang division is the second main away neutral division of the Chinese Super League this season. In the future, Jinjiang division and Haikou division will run at the same time, undertaking neutral home games of some clubs, and when the climate conditions of the club home division do not meet the competition requirements, when the objective situation of the home competition area changes, it will undertake relevant competitions when it is temporarily unable to hold the competition.
Jinjiang city football training center Stadium is the first in Fujian province and the sixth professional football stadium in China. The stadium has nearly 8,000 audience seats. In recent years, it has hosted events such as the 2019 International Federation of Sports Football World Cup. Jinjiang City Sports Center Stadium was built in 2004 and renovated in 2018. The stadium can accommodate 20,000 spectators. In recent years, it has hosted events such as the Asian Cup of Asian general Federation football match in 2018 and the FIFA World Cup in 2019.
At present, the preparatory team of China Football Association has set up the Jinjiang division working group to cooperate with relevant local parties to fully promote the division, competition, epidemic prevention, logistics, broadcast, security, business, news and other preparations for the competition are expected to be completed and put into use in mid-November.
