More than 20 countries including Italy participated in the 2022 winter Expo to strengthen the integration of global ice and snow resources
Beijing, Beijing, September 1st (Reporter Chen Hang) 2022 International Winter Sports (Beijing) Expo (hereinafter referred to as “winter expo”) opened in Beijing on the 1st. This winter expo further strengthened the integration of global ice and snow resources, attracting more than 20 ice and snow countries including Austria, Italy, Japan, Canada, France, Netherlands, Finland, UK, Slovenia, etc.
The winter expo has been held in Beijing every year since 2016. After seven years of development, it has become the first exhibition of the global ice and snow industry with the largest scale, the highest authority and the strongest professionalism.
This winter expo was included in the sports service topic of China International Trade Fair in 2022, continuing the theme of “ice and snow power” and attracting more than 600 brands from nearly 30 countries and regions to participate. Through the full integration of global ice and snow resources and the continuous strengthening of international exchanges and cooperation, we will comprehensively promote the sustainable development of ice and snow industry and promote exchanges between China and the world, create more value for the global winter sports and ice and snow industry.
This winter expo will further strengthen the integration of global ice and snow resources, with an internationalization rate of nearly 68 percent. It attracted more than 20 ice and snow countries including Austria, Italy, Japan, Canada, France, Netherlands, Finland, Britain, Slovenia and so on to participate in the exhibition of Global cutting-edge winter sports equipment, ice and snow equipment, ice and Snow technology, Olympic culture, etc.
In the exhibition section, this winter expo opened theme exhibition areas such as ice and snow technology, international exhibition area, Olympic achievements, integration of ice and snow culture, ice and snow experience area, and sports experience. Austria, as one of the origins of modern ice and snow sports, joined hands with many Austrian ice and snow brands such as dobemaya to appear in the form of national pavilions, showing outdoor snow field equipment, skiing teaching and training as well as ice making equipment and technology.
On the same day, the sports service topic of the trade fair in 2022was officially opened in Beijing. As one of the nine industry topics of the trade fair, this year’s sports service topic of the trade fair takes “sports make the city more exciting” as its theme, and promotes the cooperation of sports service trade, set up the International Sports Industry communication bridge “as the goal, set up exhibition, Forum meetings, transaction matching and supporting activities and other content.
Zhang Jiandong, deputy mayor of Beijing and executive vice chairman of Beijing Winter Olympic organizing committee, said that the special topic of sports service is a specific measure to promote the high-quality development of Beijing Sports and an important part of the trade fair. Since it was held in 2012, attracting more than 400 Chinese and foreign sports service institutions, guests and merchants from more than 70 countries and regions, and more than 40000 professional audiences to participate in the communication concept, linking supply and demand, sharing business opportunities and other aspects have played a positive role.
