The measures put forward that the national Frisbee Sports Promotion Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Frisbee Committee”) established by the social sports guidance center of the State General Administration of Sports is responsible for the training, assessment, registration, assignment, punishment and other management and guidance work. The technical grades of coaches are divided into national coaches, senior coaches, intermediate coaches and junior coaches.

The “measures” announced the evaluation criteria of coach grade certification. The assessment is divided into Frisbee sports theory and skill assessment. To apply for national coaches, additional English examination is required as a reference for qualification certification. However, the grade certification standards of Junior, intermediate, advanced and national coaches are different. Applicants must obtain the qualification of coaches of the higher level and work as corresponding coaches for more than one year before they can carry out the next level of certification. For example, the grade certification standard of intermediate coaches includes obtaining the certificate of Frisbee junior coaches and working as coaches for one year.

Individual coach qualification certification has different educational background, age and language requirements. Only Chinese citizens who have reached the age of 18 and have a high school degree or above (including the same academic ability) can pass the grade certification standard for junior coaches, the national coaches’ technical level certification standard requires that the certifiers are under 60 years old. In addition, they need to master a foreign language, be able to read and translate Frisbee professional foreign language technical materials, and conduct technical exchanges.

In addition, the grade certification standards of coaches at all levels have the requirements of awards and achievements, and the gold content increases step by step. For example, in the national coaches’ technical level certification standards, the certifier needs to achieve any of the following results in the national Frisbee competition (including the club competition filed by the Frisbee Committee) or the International Frisbee competition: world Games top eight; World Championships (including club championships), men’s group, women’s group or mixed group top 16; World youth championships (including U24 and U20), men’s group, women’s group or mixed group top 12; Asian Oceania Championship (including Club Championship), men’s group, women’s group or mixed group top 8; Asian Oceania Youth Championship (including U24 and U20), men’s group, top four in women’s group or mixed group; Top three in national Frisbee competition.

The “measures” stipulates that coaches implement a hierarchical registration management system, which has not been registered for two consecutive years, and its grade is automatically canceled, and the coach certificate is invalid. The Frisbee committee organizes registered national coaches to carry out continuing education training and conduct review examinations every two years. In principle, those who fail to pass the examination are not allowed to participate in the relevant teaching and training work in the registered year.

The measures also emphasize the reward and punishment for coaches. The Frisbee Committee shall commend the outstanding coaches in their work accordingly, and give warnings to the coaches who violate the rules and regulations according to the seriousness of the circumstances, stop several coaching qualifications, stop coaching qualifications for 1 to 2 years, the punishment of lowering the level of coaches, revoking the level of coaches and prohibiting teaching for life.
