During the sympathy activity, the Shanghai Sports Development Foundation-Yongda special fund for disabled athletes funded Qiu Fangfang’s follow-up medical expenses of 100000 yuan. At present, Qiu Fangfang has completed the operation of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and still needs consolidation treatment.

Qiu Fangfang once won the champion of the women’s football adult group in the 13th National Games and the runner-up of the women’s football adult group in the 14th National Games as a member of the Shanghai Women’s football team, and was selected as the national team. In November 2021, she was diagnosed with acute lymphocyte leukemia. Subsequently, Shanghai Football Association contacted the hematology department of Ruijin Hospital for treatment.
At present, Qiu Fangfang has undergone two courses of chemotherapy and completed the hematopoietic stem cell transplantation operation in the first half of 2022, but it still needs 3-4 courses of consolidation treatment. The high medical expenses put Qiu Fangfang’s family under great economic pressure.

According to the management measures of sports care projects, Shanghai Sports Development Foundation has previously raised more than 70,000 yuan of medical expenses from all walks of life, including Shanghai Agricultural and Commercial Bank and Shanghai Shengli women’s football club, all the funds were used for the medical expenses during the early treatment of Qiu Fangfang.
