China’s Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame 30-person nomination list announced that many places are listed
Beijing, August 25 (Xinhua) — China Basketball Association announced the nomination list of 30 people in China’s Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2022 on the 25th. According to the relevant rules of China’s Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame recommendation activities in 2022, in the upcoming second stage of recommendation, the “Recommendation Committee” composed of 500 members will elect 16 people from the 30-person nomination list to enter the third stage of final review. The final 10 members of China’s Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2022 will be approved by the “final review committee” from 16 people.

It is understood that, the nomination work of the Hall of Fame was held in the middle of July. The “nomination committee” was composed of 100 relevant organizations in the basketball field. They recommended 30 nominees from the list of nearly 600 qualified candidates, and submit the nomination form to Deloitte, a third-party independent organization. Deloitte collected statistics on all nomination forms and submitted the final statistical results to the Hall of Fame Committee. According to the statistical results, China Basketball Association announced the nomination list of 30 people.
According to the 2022 Hall of Fame recommendation activity process, from August 25 to September 7, the “Recommendation Committee” composed of 500 basketball people will start the recommendation work. The Chinese Basketball Association said that the “elected members” covered many fields such as active athletes, retired athletes and media people, and were extensive and professional.
According to relevant plans, the final review of the third phase will start in the middle of October, and the list of 10 members in the church will be published in the late October. (Finished)
